Cabin Away

I traveled up to Pecos for New Years and spent some time with the family. It was so nice to get away! Here are a couple pics of how we filled time… playing with toys or games one minute, iPads the next, watching the snow melt into the river, reading, and exploring the cabin…. oh, of course we took the dogs!

It doesn’t get much better than this.

Road Trip & Veteran’s Day

Regrettably, two of my sisters and I had to take a road trip to Lincoln, NE over the holiday for a family funeral… but, capturing little moments of peace in the scenery and a couple typical road trip photos helped lighten the mood.

The most amazing pictures of the trip may be found in my heart for personal reasons, but at the very least, I hope you enjoy the Veteran’s Day flags in David City (with the poignant empty bench) and the Midwestern scenery.

As for the rest, I hope my family enjoys seeing the photos here.
